November 2010 - New 125 Genoa Jib

I had the Lapper 110 and a 135 Genoa (at one point I thought it was a 150, but since the 125 is only a tad smaller, I assume it was a 135). After 10 years I needed a new jib. I had stopped using my 135 Genoa because it seemed that most of the time there was too much wind for it. But, when the wind was light I really wished I had a little more sail.

I worked with Judy Blumhurst at Hyde sails to get a custom 125 Genoa. Hyde was great to work with. The quality of the sail is excellent and now I have the UV protection on it I expect to get a nice long life out of it.
