Wednesday: Day 5 - Yeopim River to Elizabeth City

I can't be tired - it's morning. Dad made oatmeal for breakfast while I got us underway. Hmmm... he was a pretty good cook - maybe this should be SOP?

The Elizabeth City Bridge. The next morning we went through the bridge at about 5:30 AM in the dark. There was a full moon so there was plenty of light.

A great sail - except for the last two miles all of the above was sailing.  The easterly leg was on run and broad reach and the northerly sail was a close reach.  Below you can see that for the close reach we had brisk mostly 15 mph winds.  The weather site said there were gusts to 24 mph.
