Morning on the Yeopim River. Starting the day of right with a good breakfast of Johnson's Brats with mushrooms - yum, yum.
Approaching Edenton
The Edenton city marina. Our boat is sitting on the end of the pier.

A shippy little boat...
Hey, what's a proud papa to say?
Entrance to "Cheers" the restaurant where we had lunch.

Since I am planning on making a walkway from our driveway to the back patio (and maybe redoing the back steps), I took some pictures of walkways that I found interesting.
This picture was published in a magazine. I was supposed to get a copy of the magazine but I never received it.
Here is the link to the online magazine article.
We have traveled back to our anchorage on the Yeopim River and Dad getting ready to enjoy his smoked oysters.
Our beautiful view.
Barbecue... (don't get excited, we just used it as an oven to heat up two TV dinners)
This was one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. I keep kicking myself for not taking more pictures. The sun turned bright red, honest red not orange, as it went down. It also seemed to be the fastest sunset I've ever seen - it was a quick continuous sinking that probably didn't last more than two minutes.
This was a round trip cruise - from Yeopim to Edenton and back. Total miles was 38.9 miles.
Because of the distances involved and the poor weather (rain/wind/chop) we had only motored - no sailing!
We motored from the Yeopim to Edenton but today we finally had great sail from the the mouth of Edenton Bay to the Yeopim. The wind was good and we had an exhilarating sail!
