A picture of the "Turtles" I made at home on Friday night.
Every time I've had these they have been great. Saturday night was no exception - they were delicious and they are so... easy.

On our way to the Great Bridge locks. The lock had just opened and the boats in the lock are racing on to their next destination.

This was our first time in a lock and we really didn't know what to expect.
We watched everybody else and just did what they did. It was quite interesting. Dad usually took the bow while I handled the motor for maneuvering, etc..

The lock is getting ready to open and we are ready to cast off and head out.

Covered 43.5 miles for the day.
By the end of the day the Currituck Sound chop was considerable and we decided that we had had enough and decided to put in at Tulls Bay which turned out to be a very nice anchorage.

It was indeed a windy day.
